Introduction

Fleet Ops (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to complying with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), FCC regulations, and applicable state telemarketing laws. This TCPA Compliance Policy explains how we obtain consent, communicate with carriers and prospective clients, and honor opt-out requests.

Last updated: June 2026

What Is the TCPA?

The Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) is a U.S. federal law enacted in 1991 that restricts telemarketing calls, auto-dialed calls, prerecorded voice messages, and text messages sent to mobile phones. The TCPA is enforced by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and allows consumers to sue for violations.

Key TCPA requirements relevant to our business include:

  • Obtaining prior express consent before calling or texting a wireless number using an automatic telephone dialing system (ATDS) or artificial/prerecorded voice
  • Obtaining prior express written consent for telemarketing calls and texts in many circumstances
  • Honoring the National Do Not Call (DNC) Registry and internal do-not-contact lists
  • Providing clear opt-out mechanisms for text messages (e.g., replying STOP) and calls
  • Maintaining records of consent, including what was disclosed and when consent was given

Our Commitment to Compliance

As a professional truck dispatch company, Fleet Ops communicates with owner-operators, carriers, and prospective clients by phone, email, and text message. We take TCPA compliance seriously and implement the following practices:

  • We only contact individuals who have provided consent or with whom we have an established business relationship
  • We do not purchase or use lead lists without verified, documented consent
  • We maintain internal do-not-call and do-not-text lists and honor opt-out requests promptly
  • We train our dispatch and sales staff on TCPA requirements and company communication policies
  • We screen numbers against the National Do Not Call Registry where applicable

How We Obtain Consent

When you submit a contact form, carrier setup application, or other inquiry on our website, you may be asked to provide explicit consent to receive calls and text messages from Fleet Ops. Our consent language clearly states:

  • That you agree to receive communications from Fleet Ops at the phone number you provide
  • That communications may include calls and text messages, including those sent using automated technology
  • That message and data rates may apply
  • That consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services
  • How to opt out of future communications

Consent checkboxes on our forms are never pre-checked. You must actively opt in before we will use your phone number for marketing or promotional outreach via automated systems.

Types of Communications

Depending on your relationship with Fleet Ops, we may contact you regarding:

  • Dispatch services — load offers, rate confirmations, broker updates, and operational support
  • Onboarding — carrier setup, document collection, and account activation
  • Account management — billing, service updates, and relationship management
  • Marketing — information about our dispatch services, promotions, and industry updates (only with appropriate consent)

Informational or transactional messages related to an existing business relationship may not require the same level of consent as promotional telemarketing, but we still respect all opt-out requests regardless of message type.

Your Opt-Out Rights

You may opt out of communications from Fleet Ops at any time using any of the following methods:

  • Text messages: Reply STOP to any text message from Fleet Ops. You will receive a confirmation and will no longer receive marketing texts.
  • Phone calls: Inform any Fleet Ops representative that you wish to be placed on our internal do-not-call list, or email us at dispatch@fleetops.com.
  • Email: Click the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or contact us directly.

We process opt-out requests as quickly as possible and in accordance with applicable law. Opting out of marketing communications does not affect transactional or service-related messages necessary to fulfill an active dispatch agreement, unless you terminate that relationship.

Do Not Call Registry

Fleet Ops respects the National Do Not Call Registry. We maintain procedures to check telephone numbers against the registry and our internal suppression lists before initiating telemarketing calls. If you are on the Do Not Call Registry, we will not contact you for telemarketing purposes unless you have provided express written consent or we have an established business relationship as defined by applicable law.

Record Keeping

We retain records of consent, including the date, time, source (e.g., website form submission), and the exact consent language presented at the time of opt-in. Form submissions are stored securely in our systems and may be reviewed for compliance purposes.

Third Parties

Fleet Ops does not sell your phone number to third parties for their telemarketing purposes. We may use trusted service providers (such as SMS platforms or CRM systems) to deliver communications on our behalf, and those providers are contractually required to comply with TCPA and applicable privacy laws.

Policy Updates

We may update this TCPA Compliance Policy from time to time to reflect changes in law, FCC guidance, or our business practices. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will indicate when revisions were made. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
